Fun with Vintage...

I know, I know...  I've been terrible about updating the blog!  But Spring has sprung and I have photo fever!  Time to share a few recent shoots with you, and invite you to think about YOUR Spring Shoot.  (I'm running an awesome Spring Special - two hours for just $125!)  But enough about business - let's look at some pictures :-)

Trevor and Kaiti were up for some vintage flare a few weeks ago, so we drove down a dusty road and started snapping.  What a treat to find some super cool spots to shoot - and swings to play on.

I love these shots of Kaiti - it's really amazing what a few twists of the contrast and saturation can do to liven up a photo.  Most of these pics were edited using Rad Lab - a very cool (and ridiculously easy to use) software program for Photoshop.

Shooting digitally really affords a ton of flexibility in the final outcome of photos - knowing that we were going for a vintage feel on these gave me a ton of free reign to get really creative. I love portraiture, and I love getting to play - I was so happy with the outcome: really fun, artistic portraits that have a funky non-traditional vibe.

So - who's next?  :-)
